Extravagance is best used in decks that don't rely on a versatile, or any Extra Deck at all
The Guardian of Faith is a particularly great card that allows you to phase out as many creatures as you like for one turn as they enter the battlefield
This deck has cards that digivolve into level 6 Digimon, but if your opponent has a deck that plays cards by effects, another good strategy would be using [EX5-069 Biting Crush] early in the game to place that card in the battle area
At the very least, I can thank you for perhaps opening my mind as well to at least considering designing in this area ^^ /rant
