If the selected card is Set, pick up and see the card
You rarely want to bounce one of your threats just to save it from removal as recasting it will set you well back in tempo but when you do want to it tends to keep you in the game
I also often use Top Hat for side-board plays, or if I get stopped, or as a compromise under Maxx "C"
