Acer palmatum 'Dragon Tears' Japanese Maple Selected Size:2 gallon 'Ruby Lace' is fairly similarAcer palmatum 'Dragon Tears' Semi Pendulous Upright Red Dragon Tears Japanese Maple USPP#22249 Zones 5 9 'Dragon Tears' is a semi pendulous red Japanese maple tree with a spreading and slightly contorted habit. The unique shape gives this maple a very open and majestic look the garden. I would not consider this shape to be like 'Ryusen' but more spreading like 'Westonbirt Spreading Star'. 'Dragon Tears' makes a great choice for a spot in the garden
