Our Bedford OX tractor unit is pulling the trailer, which was in effect a semi trailer designed for the recovery and transport of aircraft. It was extensively used by both the RAF and the Royal Navy Fleet Arm during and after World War II. The flatbed trailer has open metal worked sides with a front jockey wheel to attach it to the tractor unit. Painted RAF blue even down to the wheel hubs and
