Blaufrankisch, Prieler, 2020, Austria (o) Sparkling Wines mineral wines which really impressA wine with wonderful poise, with lots of blackberry and Victoria plum fruits, black pepper and violet notes. This dark opening suggests a heavy and dense wine, but this is effortlessly drinkable with fine, silky tannins and lovely freshness. The kind of wine you can't stop yourself from pouring another glass of, as it unfurls layers of berries, herbs and minerals in the suave finish. A charmer, and perfect for pairing with roast lamb or game.
