I would classify this as a more "Northern" Rhne style Ctes du Rhne. The Syrah in this wine is much more present as it boasts more black fruit, herbs, and an olive note that can't be mistaken. This note normally comes off strongly in Northern Rhone Syrah, but is very prevalent here. The nose translates strongly to the palate on this,
