Piezoelectric Extending Transducer (T220-H4BR-2513YE) Model:T220-H4BR-2513YE Refer to Section 6 for

Refer to Section 6 for information on how this data was gathered

Because they have no center shim reinforcement

It operates over a wide temperature range and is relatively temperature insensitive

A 1-layer piezoelectric actuator produces curvature when one piezo layer expands while the other layer contracts

Thin vacuum sputtered nickel electrodes produce extremely low current leakage and low magnetic permeability

Piezoelectric Extending Transducer (T220-H4BR-2513YE) Model:T220-H4BR-2513YE Refer to Section 6 forA 2 layer element behaves like a single layer when both layers expand (or contract) together. If an electric field is applied which makes the element thinner, extension along the length and width results. Typically, only motion along one axis is utilized. Extender motion on the order of microns to tens of microns, and force from tens to hundreds of Newtons is typical.
