Recycled Aluminum Armadillo Keychain valentine's or electric lightsArmadillos are insectivores, which means they love insects. Their closest relatives are two more insect loving animals: the sloth and the anteater! The mold for this armadillo keychain was carved by balsa wood artisans on Isla Solentiname, Nicaragua, and then our aluminum artisan partners use that mold to cast the keychains. Using an age old sand casting process, scrap aluminum is melted down with old car parts, then cast and polished to perfection.
