SD A FASCINATING ROOM DIVIDER WITH ANTHROPOMORPHIC FORM, ETHIOPIA( No 2868) SHIELDS Has an awesome tribal presenceThis is a rare room divider from the Guragetribe of Ethiopia. Used to mark out the spaceinside a hut. The form is rare. We haventseen one like this with a ball like 'head' ontop. The shaft is unusually slender with someold nails at the bottom. Has a well developedpatina. The ball has some pitting. Has wearcommensurate with tribal use and a lot ofcharacter. In solid condition. We guaranteethat this item has been tribally used. Metalstand included. H
