Eocene Green River Winged Fruit P-GRP2-16-016 Eocene Recent sources include both Azolla(?)Lagokarpos lacustris Green River Formation Middle Eocene Lincoln County, Wyoming This is a good example of a winged fruit of unknown family and order relationship. The venation in the winged portion is not preserved but it has a detailed globose fruit body. These are found in the 18 inch layer but are not common.
