Equip Equipped creature has "Whenever you cast a noncreature spell, this creature gets +2/+0 until end of turn" and is a Wizard in addition to its other types
2 foil borderless cards (either 2 rare foil borderless cards or 1 rare and 1 mythic rare foil borderless card), 2 foil rares or mythics (2 rare foil regular frame cards or 1 rare and 1 mythic rare foil regular frame card), 8 foil uncommons, 9 foil commons, and 12 full-art basic lands (2 foil and 10 non-foil)
Illusions play just like regular cards but have a new effect called Vanish that banishes them if they are targeted by any action The illusions on display in the Starter Decks seem like they are tuned just a bit stronger than regular cards of the same cost with the Vanish drawback acting to balance them out
It speaks volumes that despite coming out of the other side with more than double the investment I put into it, I would still tell players to avoid Contender Draft unless some serious balancing is done to the rewards
