Epic and Iconic cards now join the existing six (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, and Enchanted)
Love this in midrange and blink with the massive number of bodies with ETB triggers
It shouldn't take very much convincing to play a Squirrel lord in a Squirrel deck
If I was only going to buy one starter deck this expansion, it would be the Amber/Emerald deck by a huge margin
(Some abilities can also target unexerted cards.) But not using them has less of a direct benefit - you dont need to defend your life points, as in MTG or Yu-Gi-Oh!, so leaving cards upright is typically only worthwhile if theyre likely to be challenged by your opponent and you need them for a future turn
I also value the incidental lifegain because many payoffs just care about you gaining life
