A meta call against decks that run little/no instant/sorceries

It's a terrible first land drop, but as long as you have a way to make creatures, it's the most broken mana-producing land in the game

Artifact ramp: Sol Ring, Arcane Signet, Mind Stone, etc

Using cards to buff it will buff every creature you cast while its on the field just as much, allowing you to go wide without sacrificing power

Assuming this is a sign-post uncommon for the set, it appears Izzet will be leaning into its usual spellcasting ways, though perhaps with an expensive spells matter theme of sorts
