In French, due to the inconsolable difference in names between the two monsters, the card text of "The Eye of Timaeus" specifies both the "Dark Magician" archetype ("Magicien Sombre") and the "Dark Magician Girl" archetype ("Magicienne des Tnbres") separately
You can get three creatures back from your own graveyard or from your opponents in a 1v1 game, but thats clunky at 6 mana, youll have more juicy targets in a 4-player pod, especially with mill decks
Sapphire ensures youre never short on ink, powering up your bigger plays, while Steel provides tough characters and combat tricks to protect your side of the board
The chosen player's maximum hand size is four
Looking back over this thread, it feels like this "archetype" is more like Wildfire than anything else it doesn't necessarily create a new deck, it just transforms one that was already there by giving it an alternate way to go off
Instead, using it as a readily available and repeatable source of removal is more than enough to get the job done
