Makindi Stampede may be a five-mana sorcery, but its utility makes it a shoe-in for any white creature-heavy deck
You can keep the engine going with ways to give those creatures that came back with the +1/+1 counter a -1/-1 so that they can keep coming back to the battlefield if they happen to die
Sure, its wonderful in Temur Energy if they have lots of Whirler Virtuoso tokens, but Im not sold that its necessary from that position
And it works well because its in the color of mana acceleration, and dropping all of those goodies for 4 mana a pop is pretty keen and cool
Also, Whenever a creature is put into an opponents graveyard from the battlefield, you gain life equal to its toughness. The rulings around MTG have changed since this card was first printed, and the short of that is that it actually affects all opponents, which makes it incredibly good at gaining you life
Then you battle other players in a Swiss tournament with a top 8 cut later if theres enough players
