I have seen it go four for one on too many occasions to still think the card is cute

Quick lands are a little better in aggro decks and check lands are a little better in control decks however pain lands win out in the middle ground and would have a better average performance than checks or quick lands even if you only looked at aggro and control and ignored the midrange

There are only seven instants with it, which makes it difficult to evaluate and appreciate

Its flashback ability makes it an excellent late-game play as well

All of our stuff drops in cost by one of each color - pretty rare here

This spell isn't flashy but it gives my tribal decks a chance at staying in a board wipe heavy table
