MTG would have a much more standardized art style as it goes on, which is in my opinion is quite good for the franchise

Chishiro, the Shattered Blade does its best to sell the idea of a Modify deck: it rewards you for playing Auras and Equipment by giving you creatures and also adds counters to modified creatures to set up +1/+1 Counter payoff cards

Its not just old favourites that are coming into play via Modern Horizons 2 though

I dont know how well Id be doing if I had no Magic background whatsoever, but I found myself back up and running within a surprisingly short period of time, especially given how much trouble I had with earlier versions of the same client

This can only be activated at sorcery-speed, still this is a powerful ability

But there's plenty more out there than Ramp
