Trazyn copies the Devourers ability to exile the top card of your library, putting +1/+1 counters on Trazyn equal to that card's mana value, and then use Walking Balistas ability to remove counters to start pinging your opponents

While it cant protect itself, making it weaker, it gives shroud (no player can target a permanent with shroud )

With a little protection in ward one, and sharing that protection with your beast and bird creatures, you can quickly generate an army that cant easily be beaten
