Backed by both that nostalgic appeal and what so far looks to be rich potential for proper gameplay depth, Lorcana manages to find a deft balance between being a light Disney title that casual players can get into though its playful, gorgeously-rendered takes on characters, songs and moments from the movies, and succesfully laying what feels like a solid enough foundation to grow an enjoyable game beyond its licensed ties
I dont know what theyre holding (hopefully not the next Filigree Sylex: hes too cute to be blown to smithereens), but Im truly so proud of them
While this has allowed me to set up a lot of Temporal Masteries, getting to shuffle my library after using a Brainstorm or Senseis Divining Top to put dead cards back into my deck is also solid incidental value
Those masked (masqued?) women are just hideous, especially the eponymous Peddler
