Love that player kill outta nowhere and they work well since trample with double strike will hit a player twice even if blocked in the first strike step and killed there and you'll draw too
The two biggest standouts on this front are Weatherlight Compleated - a vehicle famously home to the heroic Weatherlight crew, which has now been corrupted by the Phyrexians and feeds on death - and the new Ajani
With a 7/5 body, Trample and Haste, it is alone a serious threat
It requires some deckbuilding foresight since it needs both artifact creatures to sacrifice and noncreature artifacts to tutor for, but thats a deckbuilding requirement well worth building around when the card can turn your measly little Thopter token into a Bolas's Citadel or Portal to Phyrexia
Hopefully that example gave a basic sense of what you should be thinking about when building a mana base
(As this Saga enters and after your draw step, add a lore counter.) I For each opponent, up to one target noncreature artifact they control becomes a 0/4 Wall artifact creature with defender for as long as you control this Saga
