I've had games where I've gone second and won on my first turn because I got lucky with my mills and ended up with 3 JD in hand and 4 names in the almost straight away
I still want to point this out this is still for the little cards that have cool art designs, its not for a new computer part nor is it something game changing like a new type of basketball or baseball gear, nope they are cards meant for children and fans of Pokemon.
There are a few slots in every weenie deck for non-creature cards like Basri because white has no haste access so playing a pump spell is your only way to get extra damage right away and speed up your clock by that critical turn
Some strategies need to take multiple turns to set up a knockout on these cards, which can be frustrating and completely change the tempo of the game
Bless, Curse, Bank Loan, and Retainer cards do not require an upkeep roll during the first Upkeep Phase after an investigator acquires them
