Ancient Mew was notoriously difficult to keep in pristine condition because the cellophane packaging it was distributed in often caused surface damage during storage, and the card's heavily textured, embossed surface showed wear, micro-scratches, and handling marks far more readily than standard holographic cards

Needless to say, a lot has changed over the years when it comes to collecting Pokmon cards, but its been incredible to see the evolution of Pokmon over the years from the original base set to the more recently released sets, such as Sword & Shield
