Once cast (or if you just need it), this can be cast as a generally under-curve creaturehaving only two instants/sorceries/adventures in the graveyard makes this fine on-rate, and it just gets better from there, acting like a Bedlam Reveler
There are also some number of quality utility lands that involve sacrificing that make this card even better: favorite Mirrorpool springs to mind, but theres also Buried Ruin, Command Beacon, Inventors Fair, Urzas Saga, and if youre a degenerate Strip Mine
Electroduplicate Copying a creature like this is one of my favorite red effects because there are so many different things that you can do with it
