I think the little caveat that it must attack eack turn is a funny drawback, but one that does not really diminish the power of DRC

The secret is to ramp into this card using instants and sorceries like red rituals

Timing restrictions based on a card's type are ignored

If you somehow have more than two main phases in a turn, each main phase other than the first one is a postcombat main phase, and Temple of Atropos's ability triggers at the beginning of each of them

This scales up with multiple discards so Faithless Looting and variants of Cathartic Reunion become lots of incidental damage and you keep great card selection
