if you keep the equipment off high-value creatures like Barret and Kodama of the West Tree, it stresses your opponents removal as they choose between the dangerous token and the powerful enabler
Even in a world with mana burn (where you lost life if you didnt spend all the mana in your mana pool between phases), I still cannot understand why this card saw print, let alone why the prospect of losing a few points of life was considered sufficient downside for generating 2-7 mana in a color not known for mana ramp
Saffgor: I wrote this off a bit before, but I think this may be one of the best Pyroclasm-esque cards we've had yet
It could also be something I would consider a big bad legend
You don't necessarily have anything to do in the short term if you keep these two, but if you draw a land in your next two turns you can cast it
With the increase in power level and average converted mana cost each card counts that much more and so you just cannot afford to have cards that do not help you out in other ways
