These cards are not tournament legal and they are only meant for play testing and casual play
It costs an extra wingding to equip, sure, but the buff it provides to its user keeps increasing, and creating creature/lands means it has the chance at opening up a bunch of synergies that Sword of the Animist does not provide
From this, and understanding the underlying theories of mana screw, mana flooding, and mana ramps, the player will set about refining by adding and removing cards, adjusting their land-spell ratio and mana ramp for the most effective play
