I particularly like the idea of pairing it with damage dealing or amplifying commanders like Obosh, the PreypiercerObosh, the Preypiercer or Hidetsugu, Devouring ChaosHidetsugu, Devouring Chaos, as hitting double digits in damage dealt with a single effect can go a long way towards ending the game in your favor

though it plays incredibly well with merfolk, I wouldnt limit it to a typal card
