This deck wants players to lose life and for you to cast big spells, dishing out damage as an extra bit of value for your spells
Rain of Gore doesn't see play in the main deck - it's purely a sideboard card, which players can swap in if they come up against decks which seek to stabilize with lifegain
Dont get me wrong, flavorfully I think it should have trample, as Clexy is pretty swole, but its not really doing anything for the design overall
