This update certainly wasnt devoid of interesting updates, however, it didnt change anything about Meld
When a Masters set has a high expected value, it's a lot easier to justify spending $45 on a booster draft or $200 on a booster box because even though the up-front cost is high, you know that you'll get some of that money back in the form of cards you can use to build decks or, if you don't get the specific cards you need, trade or sell to get the cards you do need for your decks
If you played Limited with this set, you probably got tempted by the ring a lot, and so did your opponents
White Cemetery Protector This is one of the more dubious predictions on this list, but I think this makes for a great control finisher
Remember that you can exile your whole team with LI, and when they arrive, all of those triggers will happen again
Even more amazing is the synergy of the transformed side, which allows you to put all those returned cards on the battlefield
