This wine is crafted from a careful blend of 65% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot, and 15% native red grapes all grown in the sun soaked hills of Montefalco at 450 metres above sea level. The grapes are hand picked between September and October, then fermented over 15 days. After that, the wine spends 12 months aging in barriques (small oak barrels)
