Piezoelectric Extending Transducer (D220-H4BR-2513XE) Model:D220-H4BR-2513XE Bender motion on the order

Bender motion on the order of hundreds to thousands of microns

It operates over a wide temperature range and is relatively temperature insensitive

PSI-5H4E is an industry type 5H (Navy Type VI) piezoceramic

the piece expands along the axis of polarization (thickness direction) and contracts perpendicular to the axis of polarization (length and width direction)

The brass shim reinforcement laminated between the two piezoelectric layers is an economical approach to producing a rugged actuator

Piezoelectric Extending Transducer (D220-H4BR-2513XE) Model:D220-H4BR-2513XE Bender motion on the orderA 2 layer element behaves like a single layer when both layers expand (or contract) together. If an electric field is applied which makes the element thinner, extension along the length and width results. Typically, only motion along one axis is utilized. Extender motion on the order of microns to tens of microns, and force from tens to hundreds of Newtons is typical.
