Chateau Boutisse, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru 20 sancerre Aged in 100% new barriquesIn a Nutshell: A big and generous, ripe and fruity Saint Emilion from a good vintage. The Lowdown: Boutisse is classically Merlot dominated but maintains around 10% Cabernet Sauvignon in its blend. This year was a decent vintage here and the resulting fruit was ripe and full. There's an emphasis on sustainable viticulture and chemical herbicides haven't been used for a number of years now. It has a full body, plenty of depth and a great structure.
