This is a new mouthpiece but has a cosmetic blemish so it is being sold at a discount. This model is made using the original antique 1930s M. C. Gregory Mouthpiece Company mold. Due to the age of the mold, many of the pieces have minor cosmetic flaws. This particular piece has an asymmetrical baffle shape at least more asymmetrical than most. This blemish does not affect how it plays and this piece plays
