Bird's Nest Ferns acquired their common name from their growth habits, resembling the shape of a nest. Their leaves grow in a rosette formation from the base of the plant with the new growth coming from the centre. The leaves are bright nad very glossy. They also have interesting rippled edges that become more prominent as the plant matures.
