This June sunrise did not disappoint

turned around

the morning sun produced a soft light that illuminated this prairie landscape scene with a cattail emerging from the wetland at Wildflower Park

I stopped by the bridge that crosses over the South Fork Kishwaukee River and photographed the bridge during the blue hour as I had plenty of time to reach the lake before the sun would rise

This muskrat is feeding on the branches of a box elder tree that was felled by a beaver
