The Runner: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale by Eastin DeVerna Horror Punk my take on the supernatural

my take on the supernatural is that strange and explained things happen every day – things slip through – and we can't understand them

and terrify:

depraved tales with the craft and care of a poet describing a sunset

Saria had never seen the sun

The Runner: A Post-Apocalyptic Tale by Eastin DeVerna Horror Punk my take on the supernaturalSaria had never seen the sun, never felt its warmth on her face. What she did feel was the sting of longing for her missing father. He had been sent as a runner to reach the Oracle and he never came home. Now, Saria has inherited her fathers duty. She must go out into the dangerous wastelands and succeed where he had failed or else everyone she knows will die. From Eastin DeVerna, the creator of Samurai Grandpa comes The Runner.
