One side of each spur has traces of engraved decoration

The spurs have their original straps with fine stitching

1909 Edwardian Leather Hunting Whip by Schomberg - w1620 Swaine Ref : spur229This whip has a staghorn handle. There is a crown shaped metal "gatepusher" on the top of the hornIt has a silver collar which is hallmarked London 1909 and stamped with the silversmith's initials "W. B." The collar is also engraved "Geo. Schomberg Makers, Brompton Rd., S. W."There are a few small dents and dings on the collar. The stock or shaft is covered in plain leather with a finely stitched seam. It has its original open leather keeper.
