I knew where in the preserve I wanted to go to photograph the wildflowers because

a cup plant in the distance and a few other plants along with the mist drew my attention into this scene

It wasn't long before I reached the area of wildflowers I wanted to photograph

only about a quarter mile before I noticed the mist and wildflowers blanketing the landscape

these types of shots are a little tricky because your camera is limited with its dynamic range from highlights to shadows
