Under the lid the front of the case is stamped "Allen, Maker, Vauxhall Bridge Rd., 1916" The case is unlined. There are two leather pockets inside. A buckle and a long strap are attached to the back of the case. The long strap is partially torn halfway along its length. There is another strap which passes through brass loops and around the case Dimensions : 15" (40cm) x 9" (23cm) x 1"(3cm)
