Hardness, along with pH, alkalinity and temperature are required to be balanced in order to prevent corrosion or scale formation. Dosage: 14g per 1000 litres of water for a hardness increase of 10mg litre. This product generates heat when added to water so dont try and premix it in a bucket of water, instead tip the required amount straight into the pool with the filter pump running.
