Rare Candy is a huge culprit here: a player can now get a powerful Stage 2 monster on the field as early as turn three or four and begin a sweep that only a perfect hand can counter
For decks with three or more colors, where you might only be able to afford a small number of MDFCs since you'll need most of your lands to either be basics (for ramping / tutoring purposes) or tap for multiple colors of mana, the best MDFCs are Bala Ged Recovery (seriously, if you have green mana in your deck, play this card), Valakut Awakening, Hagra Mauling, and Ondu Inversion, along with the mythic cycle, which is almost always good if you can afford another land that only taps for a single color of mana
For the cost of a single snow mana, Arcum's Astrolabe is an artifact that allows its controller to draw a card when it enters the battlefield, and for the cost of one mana, may be tapped to produce one mana of any color
Up the Beanstalk isnt really a problem right now, but if Standard slows down after the next ban announcement, Dark Confidant could be the card that lets a bunch of smaller mana value decks tick
This left me with some lose ends and beginnings, and at the bottom I added (in cursive) some sequences I assumed to appear twice and some I had not observed but which would allow me to complete a sheet of 121
Still, the presence of Proliferate and other oil counter nonsense in the format does mean that you can get this going faster than it might look at first
