Once that ability is announced, players can't respond to it until after you've paid its activation cost and returned Maze's End to hand
Realistically, I think when Bogles is winning events, I think Pauper is in a good space
Sets such as Adventures in the Forgotten Realms, MTGs anticipated crossover with Dungeons & Dragons, are going to have a lot of extra added pressure on them given how strong Modern Horizons 2 is
