After our first couple matches, it became clear that the Sapphire/Steel and Amber/Amethyst decks were a tier above the Ruby/Emerald deck, but each was enjoyable to pilot and had fun pseudo-combos to discover
Some want to be building up a large board of creatures, and others want to be rushing to combos to repeat them in order to win the game
Who needs black and white when you have all this value in these three colors alone
Keep in mind it is your opponent who decides where the creature goes This has almost reasonable stats, and reducing the costs of spells has some extra weight in this format thanks to Adventures, in addition to the fact that it just plays well in any Blue/Red deck
Still, I highly suggest you check it out after reading this one
However, Nether Void is incredibly old (and on the Reserved List), so it was before black's color identity was fully fleshed out
