The ability to both draw a card when your stuff is targeted (and before resolution, so you can draw a card to respond to it) and to keep your foes from drawing more than one is very powerful for a 4/4 3-drop that gives you ramp, removal, and countering
And this set looks like its going to upgrade Boros in Standard, which may not have time for this, but its hard to believe that a strategy of dropping this and then a huge Song of Totentanz doesnt have a future
I know I have the Magic boomer love of a bad card he cracked in a Chronicles pack, but making the lord of walls functionally inert as a window is dead hilarious to me
So this is the year it all went a bit tits up
Its pretty awesome to drop a Sorin, kill the Reality Smasher, get all the life back, and still have a Sorin on the battlefield
This decks reprints actually have a lot to offer in terms of perennial favorites and I expect these cards to become quite sought after down the line
