Its a great way to feel out a pod of unknown players if you think youre going to be playing with those people for the rest of the night

A casting cost of 1 is less than a casting cost of 2, and requiring creatures in the graveyard is much harder to depend on than lands especially against Terminus / Swords to Plowshares matchups

It basically turns all your creatures with +1/+1 counters into some form of Necrotic Ooze

This is at its best in stax decks leveraging cheap creatures like Collector Ouphe and Archon of Emeria or token decks building out massive numbers of 1/1s
