The flavor of this deck works really well for me

Each Crystal costs four mana, reduces the cost of spells of a certain color, has a static effect, and a more powerful effect that costs six mana and needs to be tapped to activate

Even in Legacy, where Black Lotus is banned, the card could still abuse Lions Eye Diamond and, even though you have to discard your hand to get the mana, Will lets you replay those cards anyway

But with the rules language of Magic becoming better defined and developed over the years, most of these old joke cards now look quite straightforward to adapt for tournament play

Borborygmos and Fblthp I dont think Borborygmos and Fblthp is an exceptionally powerful commander, but I still really enjoy this card
