The pros are that these are easy to attain, and happen in the background The cons are that WotC picked which cards you earn and you have a limited time to do so

Five mana for a 2/5 deathtouch is enough to get me interested, but the second ability is unusual

Red + Black Burn revels in all-things disruption (Rakdos's Return, Kaervek's Purge, Blightning, Carnival // Carnage, etc.)

Varina is one of the alternate commanders out of the 2018 Subjective Reality Commander precon deck
