Like Flashback or Embalm from Amonkhet, Disturb creatures can be cast from the graveyard, though they hit the battlefield transformed into whatever monstrosity is on the reverse side of the card
So, while I don't consider myself the Alpha and Omega of either, I've got a bit of a background from which to speak
This showcased synergy between characters , including abilities or gameplay that could only be used if other qualifying characters were on the field , like Bashful not being able to quest unless there were other Dwarfs in play
