Keep in mind that while requesting high-quality photos can help you detect counterfeit cards, its always best to inspect rare and valuable cards in person (where possible)
Things to think about before starting your Pokmon collection Have an idea as to what you want your collection to look like before you start buying I know from experience how easy it can be to come in and see all of the different cards that have been released over the years and want to pick up everything, but with the cost of some of these cards, its always good to have an idea as to what you are wanting to collect before you start buying them to keep you somewhat focused, whether that be vintage or modern cards, you want to collect all of a select Pokmons cards, you want to collect all of the Trainer or Galarian Galleries, etc

According to GemRate, the most popular Pokmon card submitted in 2025 has been Iono's Wattrel Battle Partners Promo Japanese No

This goes doubly if you have ways to recur or flicker it in order to reset the card
