Playing the slowdown role of Feeling of Dread are token setup twos Selesnya Charm and of course card at hand Call of the Conclave (though if you really wanted to it would be pretty easy to sideboard an Island, add one Hallowed Fountain, and devote five total sideboard slots to actual Feeling of Dread)
While it cant lead to the kind of busted turns that its East Coast friend can, the Western version has nothing to be embarrassed about

Swords to Plowshares (T1, Ext, S, Block) Black and red are both known as being the colors of creature removal, so it's ironic that Swords to Plowshares should be hands-down the most powerful single-targeted creature removal card in all of Magic
Nothing super-special, but it does all the jobs you could ever want the card to do in midrange mirrors
It's not exactly the best red-zone threat we've seen in green for 6 mana, but it's serviceable
